Prayer is a key part of life at Greyfriars & New Hope and we are passionate about creating opportunities for people to pray together and to receive prayer. Here are just some of the ways we do that.
Everyday
Come and pray in the Prayer Room at Greyfriars, accessed through the Atrium. The space is available for anyone to come and pray from 9am-5pm every day of the week.
Mondays
On the last Monday of each month we gather in the Atrium at 6.30pm to pray for the world, the nation and the church. Come and join us and make a difference as we call out to God together.
Tuesdays
Join us for a life-giving and spiritually refreshing time of silence in God’s presence, listening for his voice as he speaks in words and pictures, and through the Bible. An opportunity to share what we have heard God saying to us as individuals and as a church, every Tuesday from 1-2pm in the Prayer Room at Greyfriars.
Wednesdays
Join with the whole church in Reading, praying for the town and listening to God. Transform Reading meets at 8am every Wednesday at Reading Family Church (448a Basingstoke Rd, Reading RG2 0RX).
Fridays
A group of people meet every week on Zoom from 8:15am to 9:15am to pray for the life of our church and the world. Please feel free to join them to pray. Email the office to find out more: office@greyfriars.org.uk
Sundays
Please take the opportunity to pray with members of our prayer team each week, at our morning and evening services across both sites.
