What happens when kids and youth arrive on Sunday.

Children are welcomed into age-appropriate groups the moment you walk through the door. Our leaders know them by name and create spaces where faith feels natural, not forced.

What if I don't know where my child should go?

Any person in a red Kids Team t-shirt will be able to help out with any questions you have on a Sunday morning.

Is it safe?

We are dedicated to keeping children safe in our groups. All members of our Kids Team have completed an enhanced DBS check and all required Oxford Diocese Safeguarding modules. If you have any safeguarding concerns or questions, please email safeguarding@greyfriars.org.uk.

How do drop-offs work in Kids?

After the first 15 minutes of our service all kids head to their groups. Feel free to ask anyone in a Team t-shirt if you are unsure where to go. It will be made clear from the front each week if the youth are heading to a group or staying in the service.

What if my child has additional needs?

We're committed to welcoming everyone. Talk to our team about your child's needs and we'll work together to make sure they're included and supported throughout their time with us.

Can we try a group first?

Absolutely. Come along to any session with no commitment. You'll meet the leaders, see what happens, and get a real feel for whether it's right for your family.

Do we need to believe already?

Not at all. Our kids and youth groups are for everyone, whether you're exploring faith for the first time or you've been a Christian for years.

Are there groups for Kids and Youth every week?

No, once every 4-6 weeks we have an ‘All in’ service where Kids and Youth join our main service. We communicate when these are via our weekly email so parents know what to expect.
