Alpha
Alpha is a ten-week course exploring the basics of Christian faith through conversation and community. Whether you're curious about Jesus, returning to faith after years away, or simply want to think through life's big questions in good company, there's a place for you here.
The Spiritual Health Course
At Greyfriars, we are committed to seeking spiritual health as we seek to become more like Jesus. Spiritual health is deep wellbeing that comes from a soul anchored in Jesus rather than in self‑improvement or changing circumstances. True wellness is not the absence of struggle but the presence of steadfastness: a soul nourished by Scripture, strengthened through daily rhythms of prayer and worship, healed within Christian community and sustained by the hope of resurrection. Spiritual health is ultimately the journey of becoming whole in Christ, discovering rest for the soul even when the body or mind feels weary.
The Spiritual Health Course is an opportunity to read Rachel Bedford’s book alongside others and discuss in small groups what it looks like to foster resilient wellbeing.
Tuesdays during the autumn term, starts 29th Sept. More details to follow.

Hope for All Creation
Begins Mon 14th Sept.
A course which looks theologically & practically at how to care for God’s creation.
Hope for All Creation: We inhabit a world groaning with the increasing impact of climate and environmental crises; with the sheer scale of the situation making many feel powerless and overwhelmed – but there is hope! Based on a new publication from the Church of England, we will look at how the Church’s faith speaks to it, unfolding just how deep and enduring is God’s commitment to the whole creation, to sustain it, to renew and redeem it. We will look at how we can care for creation in partnership with others, to show solidarity with the vulnerable, to be prophetic in speech and action on these issues – locally, nationally and globally – so that we can live out this faith and hope.
