We have a thriving women’s ministry here at Greyfriars, with weekly bible study and fellowship on a Thursday, regular breakfasts, social events and the annual weekend away.
During this time of lockdown we will be gathering online in our Time Out small groups, and as women from across the church in our new Salt and Light gatherings.
Salt and Light is an opportunity to spend time in prayer and conversation with other women from across our church family, as well as being inspired and challenged by our guest speaker.
We had more than 100 women at our first event in May, and we hope to see you at our second event this June.
Next Event: Saturday 27th June – 10:30am
We are delighted to be joined by Emma Lowth, who will be speaking to us about how we can use our spiritual gifts to serve each other at this time.
Emma was previously a member of Greyfriars church, born and brought up in Reading. Having gained a degree in Classics from the University of Cambridge, she went on to work for Simon & Schuster as a fiction editor, specialising in crime thrillers and sagas, before joining the staff team at St Mark’s Battersea Rise for three years. Emma is now a curate at Christ Church, Gipsy Hill.
