This week we have said farewell to the old West End room as it is demolished to make way for the new glass entrance space, cafe and bookshop.
Some have been reminiscing as we see it go as it holds so many memories of events, children’s groups and special moments over the years. One thing however is true, there will be so many special moments made and remembered in the new space as it opens up views of the historic church building and opens the church up to the public through the week.
It has been fascinating to watch the huge digger at work, moving so delicately to take huge stones and wooden beams carefully away from the historic facade. Here are some pictures below of the latest from the site.
