The Council’s planning team has now agreed, in principle, to support the revised designs for the outside of the new Centre. These phase 2 plans will go back to the Planning Committee on 3rd March for ratification.
These new designs use a combination of stone and light buff coloured brickwork on the upper floors sat on a ground floor plinth of blue grey riven brickwork. We have been working to develop this new scheme to both help bring the budget to a lower cost, and navigate requests from the council planners.
Assuming they receive consent in `March, we will be gearing up to start in June/July 2021 (subject to funding and PCC approval).
