Katherine Shepherd will be speaking about “Making a difference in our communities”. Katherine is CEO of The Mustard Tree; supporting the marginalised and overlooked she is passionate about increasing wellbeing in our local communities.

About the speaker:

Mustard Tree is a Christian Organisation based in Reading that is a hub for social transformation. It runs a number of projects supporting the marginalised and overlooked by addressing unmet needs and empowering local communities. Katherine has been involved in the voluntary sector in Reading since she moved here in 2003, working as Manager at CommuniCare, and in voluntary roles varying from trustee at a preschool, to delivering food parcels. She is passionate about increasing wellbeing in our local communities and believes that working in partnership is key to achieving this. A Mum of two daughters, she enjoys a cup of tea and a good chat.
