Jesus, though equal with God, did not cling to His divine rights but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant and becoming obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross. This talk explores how Jesus’ kingship is marked by His ultimate sacrifice, the giving of His life for His people. Unlike worldly kings who send others to die for their cause, Jesus willingly gave Himself to save us. What does this sacrificial love mean for how we live our lives in response?
